EFB Elektronik K5564SW.5V2 video adapter

The EFB Elektronik K5564SW.5V2 is a 5-meter video cable adapter with a DisplayPort connector on one end and a DVI connector on the other, designed to connect source devices with DisplayPort output to displays with DVI input. The black cable provides a stable physical connection for video transmission across standard desktop, workstation and presentation setups. Its length gives flexibility in placement of towers, laptops or AV equipment relative to monitors and projectors while maintaining a direct, single-cable link for video signals.

Advantages

This DisplayPort to DVI cable offers a straightforward, passive conversion for transmitting video from DisplayPort-equipped computers to DVI displays without the need for separate adapters or converters. The 5 m length reduces the need for repositioning equipment and supports tidy cable routing. The black jacket provides neutral aesthetics and standard durability suitable for everyday office and classroom environments.

Suitable for

• Connecting desktop or laptop computers with DisplayPort output to DVI monitors
• Setting up conference room or classroom projection systems with DVI input
• Workstation configurations where the computer and display are separated by several meters

Key specifications

• Cable length: 5 m

How to use

Ensure both devices are powered off or set to standby before connecting. Plug the DisplayPort connector into the DisplayPort output of the source device and the DVI connector into the display input. Recommendations

Use this cable for video-only connections; if audio or advanced DisplayPort features are required, verify that the target display and source support the needed functionality or consider an active converter. Avoid sharp bends and excessive pulling on the cable to prolong service life; route the cable away from high-traffic areas and heat sources.
