EFB Elektronik K5561HQSW.2 video adapter

The EFB Elektronik K5561HQSW.2 is a 2 m video cable adapter with a DisplayPort plug on one end and an HDMI Type A (Standard) connector on the other. It enables connection of devices with DisplayPort output—such as PCs or laptops—to HDMI-equipped monitors, TVs and projectors while supporting high-resolution video transmission up to 4K. The cable is finished in black and is intended for one-way transmission from DisplayPort source to HDMI sink.

Advantages

This DisplayPort-to-HDMI adapter provides a straightforward, passive conversion allowing compatible sources to send video to HDMI displays without additional drivers. With a 2 m length it offers flexible placement between source and screen while keeping a low visual footprint due to its black finish. Support for up to 4K resolution ensures detailed image reproduction for presentations, multimedia and gaming scenarios.

Suitable for

• Connecting a PC or laptop with DisplayPort output to an HDMI monitor or TV
• Home theater setups requiring a straightforward video link
• Office presentations using HDMI projectors or screens
• Gaming systems where a DisplayPort-enabled GPU needs to drive an HDMI display

Key specifications

• Cable length: 2 m
• Connector A: DisplayPort (source side)
• Connector B: HDMI Type A (Standard, display side)
• Supported maximum resolution: up to 4K
• Colour: Black
• Signal direction: DisplayPort source → HDMI sink (one-way)

How to use

Connect the DisplayPort end of the adapter to the DisplayPort output on your computer or other source device. Plug the HDMI Type A connector into the HDMI input of your monitor, TV or projector. Select the appropriate HDMI input on the display and configure the output resolution on the source device to match the display capabilities, up to 4K if supported. No additional software is required for basic video transmission; if audio over HDMI is needed, verify that the source device supports audio output over DisplayPort and enable it in the device settings.

Recommendations

Use the adapter for direct video connections where passive DisplayPort-to-HDMI conversion is supported by the source. For best results, avoid sharp bends near the connectors and ensure both device firmware/drivers are up to date. If you need multi-directional conversion, higher refresh rates or advanced features like HDR, consider verifying compatibility with your specific devices or using an active converter where required.
