Neupravljani switch Trendnet TEG-S350

5-Port Unmanaged 2.5G Switch expands network bandwidth by providing five 2.5GBASE-T RJ-45 ports that support up to 2.5 Gbps over existing Cat5e or better cabling. The switch comes in a sturdy metal housing, supports jumbo frames up to 12 KB, and includes LED indicators for port status. Its fanless design reduces energy use and operating noise, and the unit can be mounted on a wall for flexible installation.

Advantages

This unmanaged 2.5G switch offers higher-than-gigabit speeds without requiring new cabling when used with Cat5e or better. The metal housing provides durability while wall-mount capability increases placement options. Fanless operation lowers power consumption and eliminates distracting noise. Built-in LED indicators make it easy to verify link and activity status at a glance.

Key specifications

• Ports: 5 × 2.5GBASE-T RJ-45
• Maximum speed: up to 2.5 Gbps per port over Cat5e or better
• Housing: metal enclosure
• Mounting: wall-mountable design
• Fan: fanless (silent operation)
• Jumbo Frame: supports up to 12 KB
• Indicators: LED port status indicators
• Management: unmanaged (plug-and-play, no configuration required)

How to use

Place the switch near your network devices or mount it on a wall using the provided mounting points. Connect power, then attach devices using Cat5e or better Ethernet cables to the RJ-45 ports. The switch is unmanaged and requires no configuration—devices will negotiate link speed automatically. Monitor link and activity using the LED indicators; to benefit from higher throughput, ensure connected devices and cables support 2.5G speeds.

Recommendations

Use Cat5e or better cabling and compatible 2.5G-capable network devices to achieve maximum throughput. Install the switch in a well-ventilated area and mount securely on a wall if space optimization is needed. For environments requiring active cooling or advanced traffic control, consider a managed switch with thermal management features.
