How to use

Mount the switch on a DIN-rail and connect a suitable DC power source (12–48 V). Attach copper devices to the RJ-45 ports and use SFP transceivers in the SFP slots for fiber uplinks as required. Configure network settings through the switch management interface (IPv4/IPv6) and set up VLANs, link aggregation, QoS policies, ACLs and security features such as 802.1X, DHCP snooping and Dynamic ARP Inspection according to your network design. Monitor SFP parameters using the DDM function for fiber link diagnostics.

Recommendations

Install the switch in a ventilated, dust-reduced enclosure when possible, and use surge-protected power and properly grounded cabling. Choose SFP modules compatible with the intended fiber type (multi-mode or single-mode) to meet required distance, and enable ACLs, DHCP snooping and 802.1X to protect the network edge in industrial deployments.
