Upravljani switch PLANET FGSW-1816HPS

PLANET FGSW-1816HPS is a rack-mountable Layer 2 Managed PoE+ switch designed for SMBs and enterprise edge deployments. It provides 16 10/100BASE-TX ports with IEEE 802.3at PoE+ support, two Gigabit TP/SFP combo uplinks, an internal power system with a total PoE budget up to 240 W, and L2/L4 switching and security features for IP surveillance, VoIP and wireless access networks.

Advantages

The switch offers intelligent PoE management (PD Alive Check, PoE port sequence and PoE schedule), IPv6/IPv4 support, comprehensive Layer 2 to Layer 4 security (ACL, DHCP snooping, ARP inspection, MAC/IP binding), and multiple management interfaces (Web, Telnet, SNMPv1/2/3). Extended mode supports up to 250 m PoE over UTP at 10 Mbps, while two Gigabit TP/SFP combo ports allow flexible copper or fiber uplinks for longer-distance connections.

Suitable for

• IP surveillance systems with centralized PoE management
• VoIP deployments and wireless access point networks
• SMB office networks requiring managed switching and enhanced security
• Edge aggregation with fiber uplink to NVR, NAS or backbone switches

How to use

Mount the FGSW-1816HPS in a standard 19" rack and connect network devices to the 10/100 ports and uplinks. Use the Web-based GUI or SNMP management software to configure VLANs, QoS, ACLs and IPv6 settings. Configure PoE options per port: enable PoE, set PoE schedule, sequence delay or PD Alive Check for automatic recovery of unresponsive devices. For long-distance backbone links, install appropriate 1000BASE-SX/LX SFP modules in the SFP slots.

Recommendations

For surveillance and VoIP scenarios, enable PD Alive Check and PoE schedule to increase reliability and reduce energy consumption. Use the combo SFP ports with multimode or single-mode SFPs for reliable uplink distances according to your site needs, and secure management access via SNMPv3, SSH or SSL.
