Tower UPS DIGITUS OnLine DN-170132 — 3000 VA / 3000 W

The DIGITUS OnLine UPS DN-170132 is a tower uninterruptible power supply delivering 3000 VA / 3000 W of continuous, double-conversion power conditioning for servers, network equipment and critical workstations. The OnLine topology provides pure sine wave output and continuous voltage regulation, isolating connected devices from mains disturbances and offering battery-backed runtime for safe shutdowns.

Advantages

This UPS provides zero ms transfer time to battery, pure sine wave output with tight voltage regulation and a wide input voltage range that reduces battery use under unstable mains. The compact tower design saves space while offering high performance, integrated monitoring interfaces (USB, RS-232 and optional SNMP/Webcard) and optimized charging management for extended battery life and fast recovery after outages.

Suitable for

• Small and medium server rooms
• Critical network infrastructure and switches
• Workstations handling sensitive or business‑critical data
• Office environments requiring uninterrupted operation

When it may not be suitable

This UPS is designed for environments with moderate rack/tower space and typical office or server-room cooling; it may be less suitable where a rack-mounted form factor is required or where very low-noise, ultra-compact desktop units are preferred. Environments above 1000 m altitude require power de-rating and may limit available output.

How to use

Install the UPS on a stable, ventilated surface and connect the input to a compatible mains outlet using the IEC C20 connector. Plug your devices into the IEC C13 outlets, observing the 10 A per-socket limit and overall UPS load capacity. Use the integrated display and local communication ports (USB or RS-232) for monitoring; if remote management is required, install the optional SNMP/Webcard. In case of mains failure the UPS switches to battery with no interruption, allowing controlled shutdown of connected equipment.

What to consider before purchase

• Ensure total connected load does not exceed 3000 W and per-socket limit (10 A)
• Check available space and ventilation for a 191×460×337 mm tower unit
• Consider altitude of installation (power reduction above 1000 m)
• Decide if optional SNMP/Webcard is required for remote monitoring
• Plan for battery replacement over time (VRLA/lead‑acid technology)

Recommendations

For best results, operate the UPS in a temperature-controlled environment (0–40 °C), avoid excessive dust and humidity, perform regular battery health checks, and allow a full recharge after extended outages. Use the optional SNMP/Webcard for centralized monitoring in critical infrastructures.
