Polje tvrdih diskova Icy Dock MB324SP-B

The Icy Dock MB324SP-B is a 5.25" bay enclosure that converts a single optical bay into four hot-swappable 2.5" drive bays, supporting 2.5" SATA and single-channel SAS HDD/SSD with heights of 7mm–12.5mm. Designed for space-efficient desktop and workstation builds, this enclosure supplies power to all four drives via one 15‑pin SATA power connector and includes Active Power Technology so the unit remains powered down until a drive is inserted. The metal chassis with ABS trays, front ventilation and a rear 40mm cooling fan provide an efficient, compact storage solution for home and office systems.

Advantages

The MB324SP-B offers tool-less ExpressTray installation and hot-swap capability for fast drive changes without tools. A centrally placed 40mm fan with an adjustable HIGH/LOW/AUTO jumper allows flexible cooling control and the fan is easily replaceable with standard 40mm 2‑pin or 3‑pin aftermarket fans. Each bay features a blue activity LED and the enclosure supports SATA III 6Gb/s and single-channel SAS (SAS host required). A single 15‑pin SATA power input reduces cable clutter while optional bottom tray screw holes add extra drive stability.

Suitable for

• Compact desktop PCs and workstations where 5.25" bay space must be repurposed
• Systems requiring multiple 2.5" HDD or SSD bays with hot-swap access
• Power users and system builders seeking space-saving storage expansion
• Environments using SATA III drives or single-channel SAS (with SAS controller)

How to use

Install the MB324SP-B into a standard 5.25" bay of your case and connect the data and single 15‑pin SATA power cable (or SAS host where applicable). Insert a 2.5" drive into an ExpressTray by seating the front edge on the built-in screws and pressing the rear side down until the tray and drive are flush; push the tray into the bay until it latches. To remove, pull the rear tab of the tray and slide the drive out. Use the fan speed jumper to select HIGH, LOW, or AUTO depending on your cooling preference. If desired, replace the stock fan with a standard 40mm 2‑pin or 3‑pin fan and manage the cable with the integrated fan cable management channel.

Recommendations

Use SATA III drives for maximum performance with a SATA host and install a SAS controller card if you require single-channel SAS support. Enable AUTO fan mode for balanced cooling and noise, and secure drives with optional bottom screws if the system is subject to vibration or movement.
