EFB Elektronik O0318.2-1.2 optički priključni kabel SC-SC duplex – OM4, LSZH, 2 m, ljubičasti

The EFB Elektronik O0318.2-1.2 is a 2 meter OM4 fibre optic cable with dual SC connectors on both ends, designed for full duplex data transmission. With a 50 µm core diameter and OM4 multimode specification, the cable supports high bandwidth and low attenuation suitable for demanding network environments. Its standardized SC interfaces ensure compatibility with common networking equipment and patch panels used in data centers and telecom racks.

Advantages

This fibre optic cable provides high-speed, low-loss connections over short to medium distances thanks to the OM4 multimode grade and 50 µm core. Dual SC connectors on each end deliver secure, snap-in connections and consistent polarity for full duplex links. The 2 m length offers a balance between flexibility and neat cable management, reducing excess slack in patching scenarios. The cable's construction minimizes signal dispersion and is engineered for routine installation and maintenance in structured cabling systems.

Suitable for

• Data center patching between switches, servers and patch panels
• High-performance LAN backbones and intra-building links
• Server rooms and rack-to-rack connections
• Telecommunications equipment and optical distribution frames

Key specifications

• Length: 2 m
• Fiber type: OM4 multimode
• Core diameter: 50 µm
• Connector type: SC to SC, duplex
• Polarity: full duplex
• Typical use: short to medium distance high-bandwidth links

How to use

Install the cable by aligning the SC connectors with the corresponding SC ports on network devices or patch panels and gently insert until the connector latches. Ensure correct polarity for transmit and receive channels when connecting duplex links. Route the cable through cable management paths, avoiding tight bends and excessive tension; maintain minimum bend radius as specified for multimode fibre. For best optical performance, keep connector endfaces clean and inspect or clean them with fibre-approved cleaning tools before making connections.

Recommendations

Use this 2 m OM4 SC‑SC duplex cable for short-range, high-bandwidth links in data centres and enterprise networks. Store and handle connectors carefully, avoid sharp bends, and inspect endfaces regularly to maintain low attenuation and reliable full duplex operation.
