Interni M.2 adapter LogiLink PC0084

The LogiLink PC0084 internal M.2 adapter converts an M.2 PCIe NVMe (M Key) SSD to a PCIe host slot, allowing installation of an M.2 NVMe drive into a desktop or server with a PCIe interface. It supports PCIe 3.0 x4 (backward compatible with PCIe 2.0) and appears to the operating system as a standard storage device that can be configured as a bootable drive.

Advantages

The adapter provides an economical way to expand system storage without modifying the motherboard. Its PCIe 3.0 x4 support enables high transfer rates for NVMe SSDs while remaining compatible with older PCIe generations. The compact internal design and standardized interfaces make installation straightforward and lightweight for use in desktops and servers.

Suitable for

• Adding an NVMe M.2 SSD to a desktop PC
• Expanding storage in a server with available PCIe lanes
• Converting M.2 NVMe drives for use as bootable system disks

How to use

Power off the PC or server and open the chassis. Insert the LogiLink PC0084 into an available PCIe slot on the motherboard, secure the card, and mount an M.2 NVMe SSD into the adapter's M Key slot following the correct screw position for the drive length. Close the chassis, power on the system and enter BIOS/UEFI if necessary to enable the PCIe slot or set the NVMe drive as a boot device. The operating system will detect the SSD as a standard storage device.

Recommendations

Use the adapter in a compatible PCIe slot with sufficient lanes (x4 recommended) and ensure proper airflow to maintain NVMe SSD cooling. Verify BIOS/UEFI support for NVMe boot if planning to use the SSD as a system drive.
