Einhell GE-SA 1640 vertikulator za travnjak

The Einhell GE-SA 1640 lawn scarifier is designed for routine lawn maintenance and care. Equipped with a 1600 W electric motor and a 40 cm working width, this scarifier removes moss and thatch while improving soil aeration. The machine offers an adjustable working depth of up to 1.2 cm and a compact footprint (528 mm width, 645 mm depth) that makes storage and maneuvering straightforward. At 12.8 kg it is lightweight enough for home use and runs on standard 230 V, 50 Hz power supply, suitable for many garden sizes.

Advantages

The Einhell GE-SA 1640 combines a high-power electric motor with a practical work width to balance efficiency and manageability. The adjustable depth control enables precise treatment of different lawn conditions without changing tools. Its compact dimensions and modest weight simplify transport and handling, while the electric drive reduces maintenance compared with fuel-powered alternatives. The unit is engineered for consistent performance during regular seasonal lawn care.

Suitable for

• Removing moss and dead grass from small to medium lawns
• Improving soil aeration and preparing turf for overseeding
• Seasonal lawn maintenance in private gardens
• Users seeking a compact, electric scarifier for regular use

Key specifications

• Motor power: 1600 W
• Working width: 40 cm
• Adjustable working depth: up to 1.2 cm
• Supply voltage and frequency: 230 V / 50 Hz
• Compact dimensions: 528 mm (width) × 645 mm (depth)
• Weight: 12.8 kg

How to use

Before operation, check that the scarifier is connected to a suitable 230 V power supply and inspect the rotor and working area for debris. Select the required working depth according to the condition of the lawn—shallower for light thatch removal, deeper for compacted moss. Move the scarifier at an even pace over the lawn, allowing the tines to penetrate and lift unwanted material. After a pass, collect the removed debris and, if necessary, perform a second pass at a different depth or direction to ensure even treatment. Switch off and disconnect the appliance before cleaning or making adjustments.

Recommendations

Use the scarifier during dry conditions for best debris removal and follow with raking and overseeding if the lawn requires renovation. Regular, moderate scarifying—rather than aggressive deep work—helps maintain healthy turf. Store the machine in a dry place and inspect tines periodically for wear.
