How to use

Align the DVI-I 24+5 male connector with the DVI-I output on your source device and insert it securely. Connect the VGA cable from your display or projector to the VGA female port of the adapter and tighten any screws if present to ensure a stable mechanical connection. Power on the connected devices and select the appropriate input on the display. If the source provides an analog signal over DVI-I, the display should receive the video without additional converters.

Recommendations

Use this adapter where the DVI-I output carries an analog VGA signal; it does not convert digital-only DVI-D signals to VGA. For best results, ensure cables and connectors are undamaged and firmly connected; avoid excessive bending near the adapter.
