How to use

Select the appropriate colour and sharpen the pencil to a suitable point for the intended detail. Apply light pressure for soft tones and build up layers gradually for deeper saturation and smoother blends. For larger areas, use broader strokes held at a shallow angle; for fine details, hold the pencil closer to the tip. Combine adjacent hues and vary pressure to create gradients and textured effects. After use, replace caps or store pencils in a pencil case to protect leads from breakage.

Recommendations

Use a quality sharpener and a clean, medium-grit eraser when correcting marks. To enhance blending, layer lighter colours first and finish with darker tones; for mixed media, test colour compatibility on a scrap of the intended paper before applying to a final work.
