Ravnalo Staedtler Mars 563 500 mm aluminij bijelo

The Staedtler Mars 563 500 mm Aluminium White desk ruler is a precision measuring tool manufactured in Germany. This 500 mm aluminium ruler combines a lightweight feel with a rigid construction and a white finish that reduces glare and provides clear contrast with most drawing media. The metal edge maintains straightness for repeated use, making it suitable for drafting, technical drawing and everyday measuring tasks.

Advantages

The aluminium construction delivers dimensional stability and resistance to warping compared with plastic alternatives, while the 500 mm length covers standard drawing formats and larger layout work. The white surface improves visibility of pencil and ink markings, and the slim profile enables accurate alignment against paper edges. A finely straight metal edge supports use with pens, pencils and cutting tools without deformation.

Suitable for

• Architectural and engineering drawing
• Student coursework and technical education
• Graphic design and illustration
• Accurate measuring and layout on paper, cardboard and thin materials

Key specifications

• Length: 500 mm
• Material: aluminium body with finished surface
• Colour: white
• Edge type: straight metal edge for precision alignment
• Origin: made in Germany

How to use

Place the ruler with its metal edge against the workpiece to establish an accurate guide. For drawing straight lines, hold the ruler firmly with one hand while guiding the pen or pencil along the edge with the other. When cutting, ensure the ruler is pressed flat and use a suitable cutting mat underneath to protect the blade and the work surface. Clean the surface with a soft cloth to remove graphite or ink residue and inspect the edge periodically for nicks that could affect accuracy.

Recommendations

Store the ruler flat or hang it to avoid bending. Avoid heavy impacts on the metal edge and keep it away from corrosive substances. For tasks requiring extreme precision, verify the straightness of the edge before use and replace the ruler if the edge shows damage.
