Wera 800/4 Z bitovi

Tough viscous Wera bits for slotted screws designed for universal use. The Wera 800/4 Z bit is a flat (slotted) screwdriver bit with a 5.5 mm tip, a 1/4" (6.35 mm) hexagonal shank and a total length of 89 mm, intended for precision and general-purpose fastening tasks. The bit conforms to holder dimensions per DIN ISO 1173-F 6.3 and is produced by Wera (MPN 05 059488 001, EAN 2050000314254).

Advantages

The bit combines a robust, viscous material composition for higher resistance to wear with precise tip geometry for reliable screw engagement. Its 1/4" hex shank ensures secure insertion into standard bit holders and drivers, while the 89 mm length provides reach in confined spaces. Compatibility with DIN ISO 1173-F 6.3 holders simplifies use across professional and hobby applications.

Suitable for

• Fastening and loosening slotted (flat-head) screws
• Precision assembly and repair work
• Use with 1/4" hex bit holders and interchangeable drivers
• Situations requiring extended reach or access in narrow spaces

How to use

Insert the 1/4" hex shank of the bit into a compatible bit holder or driver until it locks. Place the 5.5 mm slotted tip into the screw head, apply steady axial pressure, and turn the driver to fasten or loosen the screw. Use the 89 mm length to reach screws in recessed or tight locations. Inspect the tip before use and replace the bit if the tip is worn or damaged to avoid cam‑out or screw damage.

Recommendations

For best results, select the correct 5.5 mm slotted bit size to match the screw slot, use a bit holder compliant with DIN ISO 1173-F 6.3, and avoid excessive torque that can deform the tip. Store bits dry and inspect regularly for wear.
