ROLINE DesignSecure 825 UPS

The ROLINE DesignSecure 825 is a Line-Interactive UPS designed for workstations and PCs. With a capacity of 0.825 kVA (495 W output) and five C13 AC outlets, it offers short-term battery backup and basic power conditioning. The compact tower housing in black and silver and passive cooling make it suitable for office or home setups where space is limited. Physical dimensions are 105 mm x 334 mm x 168 mm.

Advantages

This UPS provides Automatic Voltage Regulation (AVR) to stabilise input voltage, integrated overvoltage protection and an EMI/RFI noise filter to reduce electrical interference. A digital status display gives clear operational information, while telephone/modem passthrough and a USB 2.0 port enable connectivity for remote monitoring and advanced power management software included in the delivery.

Suitable for

• Desktop PCs and workstations
• Home office equipment
• Network devices requiring short backup time (e.g., routers, modems)
• Small office environments with limited space

Use the digital display to check status and load information. Ensure telephone/modem lines are routed through the passthrough ports if surge protection for those lines is needed.

Recommendations

For reliable operation, allow the unit to charge for several hours before first use, avoid covering ventilation areas, and perform regular battery tests. Use the UPS for graceful shutdown of connected equipment during power disturbances rather than long-term operation on battery alone.
