How to use

Connect the adapter's USB-C plug to a compatible host port on your laptop or device that supports DisplayPort alternate mode, or to a Thunderbolt 3 port. Attach the required video cable from the adapter’s chosen output (VGA, DVI, HDMI or DisplayPort) to the external monitor or projector. Select the external display in your operating system’s display settings and choose the preferred mode (mirror, extend, or external only). Only one output can be active at a time.

Recommendations

For best results use the shortest quality video cable available for the selected output and verify that your host device supports DisplayPort alternate mode over USB-C. When using high resolutions (e.g. 3840 x 2160), ensure the connected display and cable support the required bandwidth.
