The Bosch Countersink 2608585740 is an arbour-mounted countersink designed to drill, countersink and deburr wood in a single operation. Intended for use with drill drivers and drill stands, the tool mounts on a brad point drill bit (brad point not included) and combines a 90° countersink with five cutting edges for precise, clean results. Made of tool steel, it can also serve as a depth stop and is suitable for hard and soft wood, laminated and non-laminated chipboard and plywood.

How to use

Fit the countersink onto a compatible brad point drill bit and secure it in the drill chuck or arbour according to the drill manufacturer's instructions. Set the required depth using the countersink as a depth stop if needed. Operate the drill at an appropriate speed for the workpiece material, apply steady feed pressure and allow the five cutting edges to produce a clean countersink and deburred hole. Remove the tool and inspect the seat for the screw head; repeat if further material removal is required.
