Upravljani preklopnik Trendnet TPE-3018LS

The Trendnet TPE-3018LS is an 18-port managed Gigabit Ethernet switch designed for surveillance and general network management. It provides 16 Gigabit PoE+ ports and two shared Gigabit uplinks (RJ-45 or SFP), with a total PoE budget of 220W. The switch supports common management and Layer 2 features including IPv6, LACP, VLAN, QoS and IGMP Snooping, and offers a 4-digit front panel LED display for PoE power statistics and a surveillance-mode GUI for simplified configuration and monitoring.

Advantages

The TPE-3018LS delivers centralized power and data over Cat5e/6 cabling to PoE+ devices and supports extended PoE reach up to 200 m at reduced speed for remote camera placement. Rack-mountable in a 1U chassis, it includes device discovery for ONVIF-compliant IP cameras and NVRs and allows uploading building floorplans to create an E-map for easier device location and monitoring. A manageable feature set, 36 Gbit/s switching capacity and an 8000-entry MAC table support typical surveillance and access-network deployments.

Suitable for

• IP camera surveillance systems
• Small to medium office LANs requiring PoE+ endpoints
• Network edge aggregation with rack-mounted installs
• Environments needing ONVIF device discovery and E-map visualization

Key specifications

• Ports: 16 x Gigabit PoE+ ports, 2 x shared Gigabit (RJ-45/SFP)
• PoE budget: 220 W
• Switching capacity: 36 Gbit/s
• MAC address table: 8,000 entries
• Standards: IPv6, IEEE 802.3at/af, 802.1Q, 802.1p, LACP, IGMP Snooping, 802.1x
• Extend PoE: up to 200 m (656 ft) at 10 Mbps
• Form factor: 1U rack-mountable; color: black; weight: 2.93 kg

How to use

Install the TPE-3018LS in a standard 19-inch rack and connect uplink ports to your core switch or router using RJ-45 or SFP modules as needed. Connect PoE-powered devices such as IP cameras to the PoE+ ports; the switch will supply power automatically within the 220W budget. Access the built-in web-based management interface to configure VLANs, QoS, LACP and surveillance mode, or to run device discovery for ONVIF cameras and upload floorplans for E-map visualization.

Recommendations

For reliable surveillance operation, ensure the combined PoE consumption of connected devices does not exceed the 220W budget and plan device placement when using the 200 m PoE extension at 10 Mbps, as extended reach reduces available bandwidth. Keep firmware updated and segment camera traffic with VLANs and QoS to prioritise video streams.
