How to use

Fit the Bahco 9629-24 spade bit into a compatible drill chuck and tighten securely. Position the bit perpendicular to the workpiece, start drilling at low speed to establish the hole, then increase speed as needed while applying steady pressure. Back the bit out occasionally to clear chips and reduce heat buildup. For through-holes, clamp the workpiece to prevent movement and support the exit side to minimize splintering.

Recommendations

Use appropriate personal protective equipment (safety glasses and hearing protection) and select drilling speeds suitable for the wood species. Avoid excessive force to prevent bit breakage and allow the bit to cool between long continuous runs. Store the bit in a dry place to maintain cutting edge condition.
