Sučelna kartica Akasa AK-PCCM2P-02

The Akasa AK-PCCM2P-02 is an internal M.2 to PCIe adapter card that converts an M.2 PCIe 3.0 x4 NVMe SSD to a standard PCIe x4 host interface. The kit includes a dedicated heatsink assembly and two thermal pads (thicknesses 2.3 mm and 1.5 mm). The adapter is compatible with PCIe Gen3 x4, x8 and x16 slots and is backwards compatible with PCIe Gen2. The card has a compact profile and a black-and-gold finish suitable for internal PC installation.

Advantages

The adapter’s PCB with exposed copper combined with the additional heatsink reduces SSD temperature and helps maintain sustained performance. Passive cooling avoids moving parts and the included thermal pads simplify installation and improve thermal transfer between the SSD and heatsink. Support for PCIe Gen3 x4 provides up to 32 Gbit/s device throughput when used with a compatible host slot.

Suitable for

• Upgrading desktop PCs with an M.2 PCIe NVMe SSD using a free PCIe slot
• Installing an M.2 SSD in systems lacking a native M.2 slot
• Applications requiring sustained NVMe performance with passive cooling

Key specifications

• Model: Akasa AK-PCCM2P-02
• Interface: Host PCIe, output M.2 (PCIe 3.0 x4 NVMe)
• Max transfer rate: up to 32 Gbit/s (PCIe Gen3 x4)
• Cooling: Passive heatsink with exposed copper PCB and two thermal pads (2.3 mm and 1.5 mm)
• Compatibility: Fits PCIe Gen3 x4/x8/x16 slots; backwards compatible with PCIe Gen2
• Internal: Yes
• Colour: Black, Gold
• Dimensions: 120 mm (W) x 148 mm (D) x 21.7 mm (H)

How to use

Power off the PC and unplug it from the mains. Insert the M.2 NVMe SSD into the adapter’s M.2 slot and secure it according to the SSD length mounting point. Apply the appropriate thermal pad between the SSD and the heatsink, choose the pad thickness that ensures firm contact, then attach the heatsink assembly. Install the adapter into an available PCIe Gen3 x4, x8 or x16 slot on the motherboard and fasten the card to the chassis. Reconnect power and boot the system; the SSD should be detected by the OS if drivers and BIOS settings support NVMe devices.

Recommendations

Install in a PCIe slot that supports PCIe Gen3 x4 to achieve the best performance. Ensure the chosen thermal pad provides full contact between SSD and heatsink and verify BIOS/UEFI NVMe settings if the drive is not immediately detected.
