SSD ADATA 1TB vanjski sivi 5R SD820-1000G-CGY

The ADATA SD820 1TB External Gray SSD is a portable solid-state drive designed for fast file transfer and reliable storage. It combines a compact metal-and-plastic housing with a USB 3.1 interface to provide broad device compatibility and convenient connectivity. The drive is engineered to resist everyday shocks and drops and to deliver sustained read and write performance suitable for backups, media storage and transporting large files between systems.

Advantages

The external SSD offers a high storage capacity in a lightweight and compact form factor, reducing the physical footprint compared with traditional hard drives. USB 3.1 connectivity enables higher transfer rates and lower latency for large file copies and application launches. The durable casing provides impact resistance for mobile use, while the absence of moving parts increases overall reliability and reduces noise during operation.

Suitable for

• Transferring large media files between computers and laptops
• Portable backups of documents, photos and videos
• Expanding storage for ultrabooks and tablets without internal upgrade options
• Carrying a library of work files for remote or on-site use

Key specifications

• Form factor: external portable solid-state drive
• Capacity: 1 TB usable storage
• Interface: USB 3.1 for high-speed data transfer and wide compatibility
• Construction: shock-resistant casing with durable outer shell
• Performance: optimized for fast read and write operations suitable for large file transfers
• Power: USB bus-powered, no external adapter required

How to use

Connect the SSD to a compatible host using the supplied USB 3.1 cable or an equivalent cable rated for USB 3.1. The drive is bus-powered and will be recognized by most modern operating systems without additional drivers; follow on-screen prompts for initial setup or formatting if required. Use standard file manager tools to copy, move or delete files. For best performance, connect to a USB 3.1 or higher port and avoid heavy simultaneous read/write workloads when the drive is near full capacity.

Recommendations

For reliable operation, keep firmware up to date when updates are available from the manufacturer and maintain a backup strategy for critical files. Use the SSD in a temperature-controlled environment and avoid exposing it to prolonged direct sunlight, excessive moisture or strong magnetic fields. To maximize lifespan, do not repeatedly fill the drive to its maximum capacity and allow occasional free space for internal management and wear-leveling.
