ShiverPeaks BASIC-S audio kabel 2x RCA - 2x RCA 1,5 m

The ShiverPeaks BASIC-S 2x RCA - 2x RCA 1.5m is a compact audio cable designed for reliable analog signal transfer between consumer audio components. With two male RCA plugs on each end and a 1.5 m length, this cable connects stereo outputs and inputs such as CD players, amplifiers, receivers, DACs and televisions. The conductor is copper and the contacts are nickel-plated to provide consistent connectivity and reduce oxidation over time. The cable exterior is finished in a black, red and white color scheme for easy channel identification and a discreet visual appearance.

Advantages

This RCA audio cable offers straightforward, low-complexity construction that supports clear left/right stereo connections. Copper conductors provide adequate conductivity for household audio setups while nickel-plated contacts deliver stable contact resistance and improved durability in everyday use. The 1.5 m length is suitable for medium-distance connections without excessive slack, and the color-coded plugs simplify correct channel pairing during installation.

Suitable for

• Connecting CD players, cassette decks or turntables to amplifiers and receivers
• Hooking up TVs and set-top boxes to external audio systems
• Linking audio outputs from DACs or media players to powered speakers
• Temporary or permanent stereo wiring in living rooms, studios or AV racks

Key specifications

• Cable length: 1.5 m
• Connectors: 2 x RCA (male) on each end
• Conductor material: Copper
• Contact plating: Nickel-plated contacts
• Color scheme: Black, red and white

How to use

Insert the RCA plugs into the corresponding left (usually white or black) and right (usually red) input and output sockets on your audio devices. Ensure a firm, but not excessive, push to seat the connectors and check that devices are powered off or volume is low during connection to avoid pops. Route the cable to minimize tight bends and avoid running parallel to power cables to reduce potential interference. After connection, power on your components and verify stereo output balance and channel assignment.

Recommendations

For best performance, keep cable runs as short as practical and avoid coiling the cable tightly. Use the color-coded plugs to maintain correct left/right channel orientation. If corrosion or intermittent contact appears over time, inspect and clean the interfaces or replace the cable to restore optimal signal transfer.
