SEIKO set predfiltara za TEKA IC2

Water filtration pre-filter set engineered as a direct replacement for TEKA IC2 systems, delivering two-stage protection that captures sediment and reduces chlorine, taste, and odour before water reaches the main filter. The melt-blown polypropylene sediment cartridge traps sand, silt, rust, and scale particles down to 5 microns, while the coconut shell activated carbon block polishes water by adsorbing chlorine, chloramines, and volatile organic compounds. This combination extends the service life of downstream filters and improves overall water quality for point-of-use drinking water applications.

Advantages

Installing this pre-filter set safeguards your TEKA IC2 system from premature clogging and maintains consistent flow rates. The 5-micron sediment filter removes visible particulates that can damage sensitive components, and the activated carbon stage enhances taste and clarity. Both cartridges are drop-in style, requiring no tools or complex plumbing for replacement. With a lifespan of up to 3,000 litres or 6–12 months, the set provides economical, long-term protection for households and small offices.

Suitable for

• TEKA IC2 water filtration systems and compatible coolers
• Point-of-use drinking water setups in kitchens, break rooms, and offices
• Users seeking to reduce chlorine taste, odour, and sediment from municipal or well water
• Preventive maintenance to extend the life of primary reverse osmosis or ultrafiltration membranes

Key specifications

• Set contents: 1x polypropylene sediment filter (5 micron), 1x activated carbon block filter
• Filter media: melt-blown polypropylene (sediment), high-grade coconut shell activated carbon (carbon)
• Filtration stages: 2-stage pre-filtration
• Contaminant removal: sand, silt, rust, scale particles, chlorine, chloramines, VOCs, turbidity
• Operating temperature: 4°C – 38°C (39°F – 100°F)
• Maximum operating pressure: 6 bar (87 psi)
• Expected lifespan: up to 3,000 litres or 6–12 months, whichever comes first
• Installation type: drop-in cartridge, no special tools required

Recommendations

Replace both cartridges every 6–12 months or when you notice reduced flow, persistent odour, or visible sediment in filtered water. Always shut off the water supply and relieve pressure before swapping cartridges. For optimal performance, pair with genuine TEKA IC2 main filters and follow the manufacturer's maintenance schedule.
