SAS kabel DeLOCK 83735 3m

The DeLOCK 83735 is a 3-meter Serial Attached SCSI (SAS) cable that connects devices with Mini SAS SFF-8088 interfaces to controllers or host adapters with Mini SAS HD SFF-8644 connectors. Designed for internal PC and server use, the cable supports high-speed data transfer and is suitable for connections between storage enclosures, hard drives or RAID controllers where a Mini SAS HD to Mini SAS link is required.

Advantages

This SAS cable provides a reliable physical connection between Mini SAS HD (SFF-8644) ports and Mini SAS (SFF-8088) devices, combining a 3 m length for flexible routing inside racks and chassis with a durable black jacket. The cable uses standard SAS connector types to ensure broad compatibility with servers, storage arrays and expansion cards that follow SAS specifications.

Suitable for

• Connecting a controller with Mini SAS HD SFF-8644 to a drive or enclosure with Mini SAS SFF-8088
• Internal server and rack-mounted storage connections
• RAID controllers, HBAs and external SAS enclosures (where adapters support these connector types)

Key specifications

• Cable length: 3 m
• Connector 1: Mini SAS HD SFF-8644
• Connector 2: Mini SAS SFF-8088
• Product colour: Black
• Brand: DELOCK, MPN: 83735, EAN: 4043619837359

How to use

Route the cable inside the chassis or rack to avoid sharp bends and interference with fans or drive trays. Firmly plug the Mini SAS HD SFF-8644 end into the controller or host adapter and the Mini SAS SFF-8088 end into the target drive or enclosure until both connectors click or seat correctly. Secure any excess cable to prevent strain on connectors and verify device recognition in the system firmware or operating system.

Recommendations

Use this cable for internal connections where Mini SAS HD to Mini SAS cabling is required. Ensure both devices support SAS signalling and check for the need for any additional adapters or brackets if connecting to non-matching ports. Avoid repeated bending near the connector ends and keep the cable away from high-heat components.
