The Wiha 30701 manual screwdriver is an insulated precision tool designed for safe work on live parts up to 1,000 V AC. It combines a patented SoftFinish® handle for ergonomic support with a handle-length concept that balances torque and control. The tool is manufactured from chrome-vanadium-molybdenum steel with a black finish, individually tested at 10,000 V AC and approved for use at 1,000 V AC, and conforms to IEC 60900.

How to use

Select the Pozidriv tip and engage it fully with the screw head to avoid cam-out. Hold the SoftFinish® handle to maintain a secure, comfortable grip and apply torque while keeping control of the screwdriver’s orientation. Use the tool only on live parts rated up to 1,000 V AC when necessary and ensure the insulation is intact before each use.

Recommendations

Inspect the insulation and handle before each use; do not use if damaged. Follow applicable safety procedures and local regulations when working on live electrical parts.
