Ravni kabel EFB Elektronik 92804.100

The EFB Elektronik 92804.100 ribbon cable is a modular flat cable designed for flexible signal and low-voltage power connections. Encased in a black PVC jacket and supplied on a 100 m spool, this unshielded flat cable is suited to installations where space-saving, easy routing and parallel conductor layout are required. The cable construction supports orderly conductor arrangement for connector assemblies and ribbon-to-board applications.

Advantages

The black PVC jacket provides mechanical protection and basic resistance to abrasion and moisture, while keeping the cable flexible for routing through tight spaces. The ribbon format guarantees consistent conductor spacing for reliable connector termination and simplifies mass termination processes. Supplied in a long 100 meter length, the cable reduces the need for frequent joins and splices in larger installations.

Suitable for

• Internal wiring of electronic equipment and control panels
• Ribbon-to-board connector assemblies and IDC terminations
• Low-voltage signal transmission in appliances and industrial devices
• Prototyping, test benches and cable harness fabrication

Key specifications

• Form factor: modular flat (ribbon) cable
• Jacket material: PVC (black)
• Shielding: unshielded
• Length: 100 m
• Typical use: signal and low-voltage connections
• Flexibility: suitable for routing in confined spaces

How to use

Measure and cut the ribbon cable to the required length for your application, taking care to leave extra length for connector terminations and strain relief. Terminate conductors using compatible modular ribbon connectors or IDC-style connectors following the connector manufacturer's instructions. If individual conductors are required, carefully separate and strip insulation where needed. Secure the cable to prevent mechanical strain and avoid sharp bends that may damage the conductor insulation or compromise contact reliability.

Recommendations

For best performance, avoid exposure to direct sunlight and prolonged contact with solvents or oils that can degrade PVC. When used in environments with electrical noise or where EMI immunity is critical, consider using shielded alternatives or additional grounding measures. Store the cable on the spool in a dry area and route with gentle curves to maintain conductor integrity and simplify future maintenance.
