Punjač baterija CTEK MXT 14

The CTEK MXT 14 is a professional 24V battery charger developed for commercial vehicles where batteries are subject to heavy use. It is suitable for buses, trucks and commercial vehicle workshops and is designed to diagnose, charge and maintain 24V batteries safely and efficiently. The charger is a fully automatic 8-step unit that delivers up to 14 A to 24V batteries with capacities from 28–300 Ah and supports maintenance charging up to 500 Ah. The unit includes a temperature sensor, reconditioning and power supply modes, is IP44 rated for outdoor use, and is delivered with a 2-year warranty.

Advantages

The MXT 14 offers battery diagnosis to determine if a battery can accept and retain charge, a reconditioning function for stratified or deeply discharged batteries, automatic 8-step charging for optimized performance and a temperature-compensated charging mode for reliable results in varying weather. Additional built-in protections include non-sparking connection, reverse polarity protection, short-circuit protection and vehicle-electronics-safe design. It also provides a power supply mode that allows vehicle batteries to be disconnected without losing electronic configurations.

How to use

Connect the charger to mains (220–240 V) and attach the clamps or supplied connectors to the battery terminals following polarity markings. If required, mount the temperature sensor on the battery via its cable to enable temperature-compensated charging. Select the appropriate program if the unit offers user-selectable modes; otherwise the MXT 14 will run its automatic 8-step cycle including diagnosis and reconditioning where applicable. Use the power supply mode when you need to disconnect the battery from the vehicle while maintaining vehicle electronic settings.

Recommendations

Use the CTEK MXT 14 in well-ventilated areas and follow vehicle manufacturer instructions for battery maintenance. Ensure clamps are connected with correct polarity. For deeply discharged or stratified batteries, allow the reconditioning cycle to complete and monitor charging status. Store and operate the charger within the temperature range recommended by the manufacturer and keep the unit dry despite its IP44 rating.
