Pribor za čitač barkoda Datalogic 8-0938-02

The Datalogic 8-0938-02 is a black barcode reader accessory with a USB B connector and a 4.5 meter cable, designed to extend the reach and connectivity of compatible barcode scanners. It provides a stable wired connection for reliable data transfer in retail, warehousing, and industrial environments where longer cable length or a specific connector type is required.

Advantages

This accessory offers an extended cable length of 4.5 m to increase operational flexibility and reduce the need to reposition fixed equipment. The USB B connector ensures compatibility with scanners and host devices that use this interface, enabling straightforward plug-and-play connection. The black cable and connector housing are designed for standard commercial and industrial settings and help maintain a neat, organized installation.

Suitable for

• Point-of-sale stations requiring longer reach between scanner and host
• Warehouse and logistics environments with fixed-mount or handheld scanners
• Industrial workstations where durable wired connections are preferred over wireless
• Environments that need a USB B connector to interface with specific terminals or hubs

Key specifications

• Color: black
• Connector type: USB B (device-side)
• Cable length: 4.5 meters
• Intended use: barcode reader accessory for wired data transfer

How to use

Connect the USB B end of the cable to the barcode reader's USB B port and the opposite end to the host device or a compatible adapter as required by your setup. Ensure connections are fully seated to maintain a stable data link. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and protect it from heavy foot traffic or mechanical damage. When disconnecting, grip the connector rather than pulling on the cable to avoid strain.

Recommendations

For reliable long-term performance, avoid exposure to excessive heat, liquids, or chemical agents. Regularly inspect the connector and cable for wear or damage and replace the accessory if any insulation or connector deformation is observed. Use strain reliefs or cable management accessories where the cable passes through work areas to reduce mechanical stress.
