The POLY M22 to QD Lightweight Cable POLY 85R40AA HP provides a compact, lightweight connection solution for compatible POLY headsets and communication devices. Designed for straightforward plug-and-play use, the cable offers a slim profile and flexible construction to reduce strain and improve portability while maintaining reliable audio signal transmission. It is intended to replace or extend existing headset cabling where a quick-disconnect (QD) interface and M22 connector compatibility are required.

Advantages

The cable's lightweight construction and flexible sheath minimize weight on the user and reduce cable fatigue during prolonged use. Its quick-disconnect interface enables fast, tool-free detachment for device changes or replacement, and the M22 connector ensures stable electrical contact with compatible POLY equipment. The slim form factor supports tidy cable routing and convenient storage when transporting the headset.

Suitable for

• Office and call centre headset connections with POLY-compatible devices
• Users needing a replaceable or extendable headset cable with a quick-disconnect
• Mobile or on-the-go professionals requiring a lightweight, portable cable
• On-desk telephony setups where a slim cable improves ergonomics and routing

Key specifications

• Connector types: M22 connector to Quick-Disconnect (QD)
• Cable design: lightweight, flexible jacket for reduced stiffness
• Length: designed for typical headset reach and mobility (exact length varies by SKU)
• Compatibility: compatible with POLY headsets and devices that use M22-to-QD connections
• Usage environment: indoor office and mobile use

How to use

Connect the M22 end of the cable to the matching port on your POLY headset or device, and attach the quick-disconnect (QD) end to the corresponding QD plug on the other headset component or base. Ensure connectors engage firmly until you feel or hear a click on the QD interface. To remove, press the QD release mechanism and gently separate the connectors. Avoid sharp bends near the connector ends and route the cable to prevent pinching or excessive tension.

Recommendations

Store the cable coiled loosely when not in use and avoid exposing it to extreme temperatures or liquids. Inspect connectors periodically for debris or wear, and replace the cable if you notice intermittent audio, visible damage to the jacket, or loose connector engagement.
