Patch panel modul DELOCK 90900 bež Simplex SC utičnica

DELOCK 90900 is a beige simplex SC patch panel module designed for fiber-optic installations. It provides a single SC simplex connector in a compact housing that fits into standard patch panel slots, allowing clear routing and termination of a single optical fiber. The module is intended to streamline fiber management in racks and enclosures by offering a fixed, accessible termination point for patch cords and splices while helping to maintain optical performance at the connection interface.

Advantages

The patch panel module offers a reliable physical termination for single-mode or multimode fibers using a standard SC simplex interface. Its compact beige housing facilitates neat rack installation and visual distinction in mixed assemblies. By providing a stable connector interface, the module reduces mechanical stress on fiber ends and helps minimize insertion loss at the termination. The standardized SC connector enables wide compatibility with existing patch cords and adapters for quick reconfiguration and maintenance.

Key specifications

How to use

Install the module into the appropriate slot of a compatible patch panel or faceplate until it is securely seated. Route the incoming and outgoing fiber cables carefully to avoid sharp bends and excessive stress on the fiber, then connect the patch cord or pigtail to the SC simplex receptacle. Ensure connectors are clean before mating; use appropriate cleaning tools or wipes to remove dust and debris. After installation, verify the optical connection with suitable testing equipment to confirm acceptable insertion loss and signal integrity.

Recommendations

Handle fiber connectors and the patch panel module with care: avoid touching ferrules, keep dust caps in place when connectors are not mated, and follow industry guidelines for bend radius and connector cleaning to maintain optical performance.
