Optički kabel Qoltec 54081 15 m LC zeleni

The Qoltec 54081 15 m LC Green is an OM3 multimode fibre optic cable with LC connectors on both ends and a 50 µm core diameter. Designed for full duplex communication, this fibre cable offers high-speed data transmission with reduced attenuation over short to medium distances. Its 15 metre length and green jacket allow clear identification in structured cabling environments while maintaining compatibility with standard LC ports used in modern networking equipment.

Advantages

This OM3 fibre cable delivers consistent signal quality for high-bandwidth applications and supports duplex links using LC-to-LC connectors. The 50 µm core is optimized for multimode laser sources, reducing modal dispersion and improving throughput in gigabit and 10 Gigabit Ethernet environments. The green outer jacket aids cable management and identification in racks and patch panels, and the fully terminated ends simplify installation by eliminating the need for field termination.

Suitable for

• Data centre patching and interconnects
• Server room backbone and horizontal runs
• High-speed Ethernet links up to multimode OM3 distances
• Telecommunications closets and network equipment connections

Key specifications

• Fibre type: OM3 multimode
• Core diameter: 50 µm
• Connector type: LC to LC, duplex
• Length: 15 m
• Jacket colour: green
• Typical supported applications: Gigabit Ethernet, 10 Gigabit Ethernet over multimode

How to use

Inspect both LC connectors and equipment ports for dust or debris before making connections; use a fibre cleaning tool if necessary. Route the cable along existing cable management paths, avoiding sharp bends and tight loops to prevent excess attenuation. Plug each LC connector into the corresponding LC port, ensuring the duplex orientation matches transmit and receive pairs on connected devices. Verify link status on the networking equipment and perform an optical test if required to confirm signal integrity.

Recommendations

Store the cable coiled without tight bends and avoid pulling beyond the manufacturer’s recommended tensile load. For optimal performance, keep connector end faces clean and use the green jacket for easy identification in multimode installations. When deploying in high-performance environments, pair OM3 fibres with compatible transceivers rated for multimode applications.
