Optički adapter LANBERG FA-LCUP-SD01-0001-BU singlemode LC/UPC duplex adapter, plavi

LANBERG FA-LCUP-SD01-0001-BU singlemode LC/UPC duplex adapter provides a compact interface for joining two LC/UPC fiber connectors. Designed for singlemode networks, the blue adapter offers precise ferrule alignment and low insertion loss for patch panels, distribution frames, fiber enclosures and in-line couplings. Its duplex format supports two channels for bidirectional optical transmission and is compatible with standard LC connectors used in telecom, data center and FTTH deployments.

Advantages

The adapter ensures stable optical alignment between LC/UPC connectors, minimizing return loss and signal degradation. Its compact duplex housing saves space in high-density panels while maintaining mechanical stability. The blue color coding facilitates quick identification of singlemode ports. The component is suitable for repeated mating cycles and supports straightforward installation in standard adapter panels and fiber modules.

Suitable for

• Interfacing LC/UPC singlemode fiber connectors in patch panels
• Connecting fiber jumper cables in data centers and telecom rooms
• FTTH distribution points and subscriber termination boxes
• In-line coupling between fiber enclosure modules

Key specifications

• Connector type: LC/UPC duplex
• Fiber type: singlemode
• Color: blue (singlemode identification)
• Format: duplex (two channels)
• Typical insertion loss: low (designed for minimal optical attenuation)
• Mechanical: compact housing for high-density panels

How to use

Install the adapter into a compatible adapter panel, faceplate or fiber enclosure opening and secure it according to the panel’s mounting method. Insert LC/UPC connectors from each side until they click into place, ensuring ferrules are clean and undamaged to maintain low insertion loss. For removal, depress the connector latch and withdraw the connector straight out to avoid bending the fiber. Perform visual inspection and, if required, optical testing after mating to verify signal quality.

Recommendations

Clean connector endfaces with appropriate fiber cleaning tools before each connection to reduce insertion loss and prevent contamination. Use dust caps when ports are not in service. Avoid excessive mechanical stress on mated connectors and maintain proper bend radius for connected fibers to preserve optical performance.
