Optički adapter DELOCK 90915 ST Simplex BU na ST Simplex bijeli

DELOCK 90915 ST Simplex BU to ST Simplex White is a fiber optic adapter designed to join an ST Simplex connector with an ST Simplex BU (blue) connector in a compact white housing. The adapter provides an accurate mechanical alignment of single-mode or multimode fiber termini, enabling stable optical signal transmission in patch panels, wall plates, distribution frames, or temporary field repairs. Its ST Simplex interface maintains the bayonet coupling typical for ST connectors and is suitable for installations where ST Simplex terminations are required.

Advantages

The adapter ensures precise core alignment and low insertion loss through a robust ceramic/alignment sleeve and a secure bayonet coupling. Its compact white housing offers easy visual identification and neat integration into existing fiber infrastructure. The simple push-and-twist ST interface provides reliable physical contact and repeatable mating cycles while minimizing back reflections and signal degradation when used with compatible connectors.

How to use

Insert each ST Simplex connector into the corresponding adapter opening and engage the bayonet by pushing in and twisting until the connector seats securely. Ensure connectors are clean and free of dust or debris prior to mating to maintain low insertion loss and protect fiber end faces. For removal, twist and pull the connector straight out. When performing field repairs, verify optical continuity and loss with appropriate test equipment after installation.

Recommendations

Keep connector end faces covered with dust caps until installation and clean them with approved fiber cleaning tools if contamination is suspected. Avoid excessive mechanical stress on the adapter and connected cables; mount it in compatible panels or housings to prevent strain. Use compatible ST Simplex connectors and follow standard fiber handling procedures to ensure reliable long-term performance.
