Mrežni kabel Helos CAT5e SF/UTP 2 m

The Helos CAT5e SF/UTP 2m networking cable provides a 2-meter connection with RJ-45 connectors and SF/UTP shielding to support reliable Ethernet data transmission. Designed for standard home and office networks, this yellow cable balances flexibility and durability while minimizing electromagnetic interference for stable performance with compatible network devices.

Advantages

The SF/UTP construction combines braided shielding overall with individually unshielded twisted pairs to reduce external noise and crosstalk, improving signal integrity over the 2 m length. The cable's CAT5e specification supports common Ethernet speeds and is compatible with devices using RJ-45 connectors. Its flexible jacket and robust connectors simplify installation in tight spaces and frequent reconfiguration scenarios.

Suitable for

• Connecting a computer, router or switch within a small office or home network
• Linking networked audio/video devices and smart-home hubs
• Temporary or semi-permanent workstation cabling where a 2 m length is sufficient

Key specifications

• Cable category: CAT5e
• Shielding type: SF/UTP (overall braid + unshielded twisted pairs)
• Length: 2 m
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45
• Colour: Yellow

How to use

Insert each RJ-45 connector into the corresponding Ethernet ports on your devices until the latch clicks. Ensure both devices are powered on and configured for Ethernet communication. For optimal performance, avoid sharp bends and excessive tension on the cable and keep it separated from high-power electrical cables to reduce interference. If connecting through patch panels or keystone jacks, verify port alignment before seating the connector.

Recommendations

Use the Helos CAT5e SF/UTP 2m cable for short to medium runs where improved EMI protection is beneficial. For longer distances or higher-speed networks, consider higher-category cables (e.g., CAT6) or longer lengths according to network design requirements. Inspect connectors periodically for wear and replace the cable if the jacket or connector latching becomes damaged.
