Mrežna utičnica Gembird NCA-LSAS6-01

The Gembird NCA-LSAS6-01 is a compact Cat6 network junction box with a KRONE (LSA) 8P8C punch-down connector and F/UTP (shielded FTP) construction. Designed for tidy cable terminations and reduced electromagnetic interference, the unit measures 36 mm × 66 mm × 25 mm and has a silver finish. It is intended for structured cabling in home or small office networks where Category 6 performance and shielded connections are required.

Advantages

The junction box supports Category 6 cabling standards and uses a KRONE (LSA) punch-down interface for reliable terminations without soldering. Shielded F/UTP construction helps minimise external interference on shielded twisted-pair cables. Its compact dimensions and lightweight design make it easy to mount in limited spaces and integrate into existing network runs.

Suitable for

• Terminating Cat6 shielded (FTP/F/UTP) network cables
• Small office or home LAN patching and junction points
• Installing shielded RJ45 connections where reduced EMI is required

Key specifications

• Connector type: KRONE (LSA) 8P8C punch-down
• Category compatibility: Cat6
• Shielding: F/UTP (shielded)
• Dimensions (W×D×H): 36 × 66 × 25 mm
• Colour: Silver
• Weight: 0.04 kg
• Manufacturer: Gembird, MPN NCA-LSAS6-01

How to use

Prepare the shielded Cat6 cable by stripping the outer jacket and folding back the drain wire/shield according to standard shielding practice. Insert each conductor into the corresponding position on the KRONE (LSA) 8P8C punch-down block and press or punch down using a compatible termination tool to secure the contacts. Ensure the cable shield is connected to the box grounding point if required by your installation. Close or mount the junction box in place and test the connection with appropriate network testers.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, use twisted-pair Cat6 shielded cables and a proper KRONE punch-down tool. Maintain correct wire pair order and ensure the shield is correctly grounded to preserve Category 6 and shielding benefits. Verify terminations with a cable tester after installation.
