Microconnect Premium Optic HDMI kabel 30m

The MicroConnect Premium Optic HDMI Cable 30m is an active hybrid HDMI 2.1 cable that combines fiber-optic and copper conductors to transmit high-resolution video and audio over long distances without data loss. With support for up to 7680 x 4320 pixels and a maximum bandwidth of 48 Gbit/s, the cable is lightweight, flexible and has an ultra-small bend radius, making it suitable for professional and residential installations. Gold-plated HDMI Type A connectors provide corrosion resistance and reliable contact.

Advantages

This HDMI cable supports HDMI 2.1 features including 8K resolution, 3D and Audio Return Channel (ARC). The hybrid construction (fiber optic + copper) enables stable 48 Gbit/s data transfer over 30 m while remaining thin and bendable for confined routing. Active electronics preserve signal integrity across long runs and the black, lightweight design reduces strain on connected devices.

Suitable for

• Long-distance AV installations between TVs, projectors and AV receivers
• Home theatre systems requiring 4K/8K and ARC support
• Professional display setups in conference rooms and control centres
• Environments with tight cable routing where a small bend radius is needed

How to use

Connect one HDMI Type A gold-plated connector to the source device (for example a Blu-ray player, game console or AV receiver) and the other HDMI Type A connector to the display device (TV, monitor or projector). Ensure both connected devices support the desired HDMI 2.1 features. Route the cable carefully, avoiding sharp kinks; the cable's ultra-small bend radius allows flexible installation but excessive force should be avoided. No external power supply is normally required for typical installations.

Recommendations

For best results, verify that source and display firmware settings are updated and set to use HDMI 2.1 modes. If using features such as 8K at high refresh rates, ensure connected devices and content also support those modes. Avoid running the cable alongside high-power electrical lines to minimise potential interference.
