Metar Stanley FATMAX Autolock XTHT0-33501

The Stanley FATMAX Autolock XTHT0-33501 tape measure is a compact, robust measuring tool designed for accurate linear measurement on job sites and at home. With a durable housing and an Autolock mechanism, it secures the blade automatically to hold measurements in place, enabling one-handed operation and reducing slippage. Its dimensions (width 115 mm, depth 68 mm, height 180 mm) provide a comfortable grip and stable profile when placed on surfaces or stored in a toolbox.

Advantages

The Autolock system simplifies single-handed measuring by automatically locking the blade when extended, improving efficiency during repetitive tasks. Built with a sturdy case and reinforced components, this Stanley FATMAX tape resists everyday wear, impacts and frequent use. The ergonomically sized housing and balanced weight distribution make it easier to control the blade when measuring longer distances, and the clear scale on the blade supports precise readings.

Suitable for

• Carpentry and woodworking measurements
• Construction and on-site layout work
• DIY home improvement and renovation tasks
• Plumbing and electrical rough-in measurements
• Furniture fitting and interior installations

Key specifications

• Housing dimensions: 115 mm (width) × 68 mm (depth) × 180 mm (height)
• Autolock mechanism for automatic blade lock
• Durable, impact-resistant case construction
• Ergonomic design for comfortable grip and control
• Clear, easy-to-read measurement markings on the blade

How to use

Pull the blade out of the housing to the required length; the Autolock feature will engage automatically to hold the blade in position. Read the measurement from the blade at the point of interest, keeping the tape straight and taut for accuracy. To retract the blade, press the release button or lever according to the tool’s mechanism and guide the blade back into the case to avoid rapid retraction. Store the tape measure in a dry place to maintain case integrity and blade readability.

Recommendations

For accurate results, keep the blade clean and free of debris, and ensure the end hook is aligned with the measurement edge. Avoid dropping the tape measure from height and retract the blade slowly to prolong mechanism life. Use the Autolock feature to stabilize the blade during one-handed tasks and double-check critical measurements before cutting or fixing materials.
