Lindy 2m Cat.6 S/FTP kabel, zeleni

Cat.6 S/FTP Cable Lindy 2m is a shielded twisted-pair patch cable with RJ45 connectors designed for Gigabit Ethernet. The cable supports frequencies up to 250 MHz and is built with an overall braid shield plus foil shield around each pair (S/FTP). Gold-plated contacts and an integrated snagless connector provide reliable conductivity and protection for the connector latch during installation and removal. Available in multiple colours and lengths, the Lindy Cat.6 cable is manufactured and tested to ISO/IEC 11801 standards and comes with a 10 year warranty.

Advantages

The S/FTP construction offers improved protection against electromagnetic interference compared with unshielded cables, while gold-plated pins reduce oxidation and signal loss for long-term reliability. The integrated snagless strain relief protects the connector latch from damage when plugging or unplugging. Tested to Cat.6 performance up to 250 MHz, the cable is suitable for stable 1 Gbps connections and professional networking installations.

Suitable for

• Gigabit Ethernet (10/100/1000Base-T)
• Network patching in offices, data cabinets and server rooms
• AV extension and multimedia streaming
• Shielded installations where EMI protection is required

Key specifications

• Category: Cat.6 S/FTP (braid overall + foil per pair)
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45, gold-plated contacts
• Bandwidth: up to 250 MHz
• Data rates: suitable for 10/100/1000Base-T (Gigabit Ethernet)
• Length: 2 m (other lengths available)
• Colour: Green
• Standard: manufactured and tested to ISO/IEC 11801
• Warranty: 10 years

How to use

Connect the RJ45 plugs to the corresponding Ethernet ports on your devices—such as switches, routers, computers or patch panels—ensuring the latch clicks into place. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and strong mechanical stress; the snagless design helps protect the latch during insertion and removal. For best performance, avoid running the cable parallel and close to high-voltage power lines or strong sources of electromagnetic interference.

Recommendations

For optimal signal integrity, use this Cat.6 S/FTP cable in shielded or grounded network environments when possible, and choose an appropriate length to minimise excess cable. Ensure connectors on both ends are fully seated and test connections with network diagnostic tools after installation.
