KVM preklopnik Inter-Tech AS-9108DA

The KVM switch Inter-Tech AS-9108DA enables control of multiple computers from a single keyboard, mouse and monitor configuration. It provides USB ports for keyboard and mouse connectivity and DVI-I video output supporting Full HD resolution up to 1920 x 1080 pixels. Built with a steel housing and designed for continuous operation, the unit has an MTBF of 120,000 hours and a compact footprint with dimensions of 432 mm x 156 mm x 43 mm. The device operates from a DC input voltage of 9–12 V and is finished in black.

Advantages

The Inter-Tech AS-9108DA consolidates peripheral control into one station, reducing cable clutter and simplifying workstation management. USB keyboard and mouse connectivity ensures compatibility with standard input devices while the DVI-I video output delivers Full HD image quality for monitoring and control tasks. The steel housing increases mechanical durability, and the relatively long MTBF contributes to lower downtime and predictable maintenance intervals. Its ability to control many systems from a single point supports efficient operation in environments with multiple computers.

Suitable for

• IT rooms and server racks where centralized input control is required
• Control stations and operator desks that monitor multiple PCs
• Environments that require Full HD monitoring on a single display
• Workplaces looking to reduce peripheral duplication and cable complexity

How to use

Place the KVM switch in a suitable location near the computers and the shared monitor, keyboard and mouse. Connect each computer to the switch using the appropriate DVI-I video and USB cables for keyboard and mouse. Connect the shared monitor to the switch’s DVI-I output and attach the USB keyboard and mouse to the front or designated USB ports. Supply power to the unit using a compatible DC 9–12 V adapter. Use the switch’s selection controls (front panel, remote or supported switching method) to change the active computer; refer to the product manual for specific switching procedures and cabling diagrams.

Recommendations

For stable operation, use quality DVI-I and USB cables of appropriate length, ensure the DC power adapter matches the 9–12 V input requirement, and mount the unit in a ventilated rack or shelf to avoid heat buildup. Verify connected computers’ video settings are set to output at or below 1920 x 1080 to ensure compatibility with the switch’s supported resolution.
