Knipex 97 52 09 kliješta

The Knipex 97 52 09 pliers are designed for solder-free electrical connections and achieve consistent, high-quality crimps through precision dies and an integral self-releasing lock. Constructed from chrome vanadium electric steel with oil hardening and finished with comfortable red plastic handles, these 250 mm pliers combine durability with ergonomic handling for professional and DIY use.

Advantages

The lever transmission reduces required hand force by up to 30% compared with regular crimping pliers, and the tool is factory-calibrated for precise crimping pressure with the possibility of readjustment. Two-hand operation supports crimping of larger conductor diameters, while the angled head, well-balanced centre of gravity and ergonomically shaped handles ensure easy and controlled handling.

Suitable for

• Crimping insulated and non-insulated electrical connectors
• Creating solder-free connections in automotive and electrical installations
• Repetitive workshop and field crimping tasks requiring consistent results

How to use

Select the appropriate connector and insert the stripped conductor into the crimp sleeve. Position the connector in the crimping die, align the tool so the angled head provides unobstructed access, and apply steady pressure using one or both hands as required. After crimping, the self-releasing mechanism opens the jaws automatically; inspect the crimp for correct deformation and, if necessary, fine-tune the crimping pressure following the manufacturer's calibration instructions.

Recommendations

Use the pliers for their intended purpose only: crimping electrical connectors. Keep dies clean and free of debris, periodically check and, if required, re-adjust the calibrated crimping pressure. Store in a dry place and avoid exposure to corrosive substances to maintain material properties and consistent crimp quality.
