How to use

Insert the DisplayPort male end firmly into the DisplayPort output of the source device until it clicks into place. Connect a standard HDMI cable from the adapter’s HDMI female socket to the HDMI input on the display or projector. Ensure both devices are powered and select the correct input on the display. No additional drivers are typically required; compatibility depends on the source device supporting HDMI output over its DisplayPort connector or on dual-mode DisplayPort (DP++) capability.

Recommendations

For reliable operation, avoid excessive bending at the connector interfaces and use a short, high-quality HDMI cable to reduce signal loss. Verify that the source device supports passive DisplayPort-to-HDMI conversion (DP++). If the source does not support DP++, consider using an active converter for guaranteed signal conversion and extended resolutions.
