Kabelski adapter Telegärtner J08081A0002 plavi

The Telegärtner J08081A0002 Blue cable gender changer is a compact adapter designed to join two compatible fiber or copper cable ends without changing the signal direction. Manufactured by Telegärtner, it follows international connector standards and is built from materials chosen for durability and stable signal transmission. The adapter complements Telegärtner's range of connector systems and is suitable for use in panels, outlets and patching applications where a small, reliable interconnection is required.

Advantages

The adapter offers a compact form factor that helps maintain port density in patch panels and outlets. It is made to the same quality principles as Telegärtner FO connectors — reliable mechanical fit, consistent optical/electrical contact and compliance with international standards. Its simple design allows quick installation and low-maintenance operation, and the blue colour provides easy visual identification within cabling infrastructure.

Suitable for

• Joining compatible cable ends in network patch panels
• Temporary or permanent cable reconfiguration in wiring closets
• Field installations and small distribution points
• Applications requiring a compact gender changer to preserve port density

How to use

Insert the corresponding cable connector ends into each side of the gender changer until they seat securely. Ensure connectors are clean and free of dust or debris before mating to maintain signal quality. For fiber connectors, follow standard fibre-handling procedures (cleaning, avoiding sharp bends). Verify physical fit and test the link for continuity or optical/electrical performance after installation.

Recommendations

Use the adapter in dry, dust-controlled environments where possible. Clean connectors before use and avoid excessive mechanical stress or bending at the mating points. Store unused adapters in protective packaging to prevent contamination.
