How to use

Insert the 3-pin XLR connector into the corresponding XLR socket and plug the 6.3 mm connector into the 6.3 mm jack, or vice versa depending on the direction of conversion required. Ensure connectors are aligned before insertion and avoid forcing the plug to prevent damage. Use the adapter for temporary or semi-permanent conversions; verify signal flow and grounding in the audio chain after connection to confirm correct operation.

Recommendations

Use this adapter for short-term or situational conversions between XLR and 6.3 mm connections. For critical studio work or long cable runs, consider dedicated cables or balanced wiring practices to preserve signal quality. Handle the adapter by the body rather than the cable ends where possible, and inspect connectors regularly for wear.
