Kabelski adapter DeLOCK 88805

The DeLOCK 88805 Cable Gender Changer is an adapter with FME and SMB connectors made of brass, designed to join radio frequency components with differing connector types. It provides a simple mechanical solution to connect cables and devices in telecommunications and networking environments while maintaining signal continuity.

Advantages

The adapter uses durable brass connectors for corrosion resistance and stable mechanical contact. Its compact form factor permits easy insertion between cables without adding significant bulk. The gender changer supports reliable connectivity between FME and SMB interfaces, reducing the need for replacing or reterminating existing cables.

How to use

Align the FME and SMB connectors with the corresponding cable ends or device ports and gently screw or push them into place until secure. Verify mechanical fit and ensure there is no undue strain on the connected cables. For best results, perform a brief connectivity check after installation to confirm signal transmission.

Recommendations

Use the adapter in dry, clean environments and avoid excessive torque when tightening connectors. Inspect connectors periodically for wear or corrosion and replace the adapter if electrical continuity or mechanical stability is compromised.
