Kabel Silverstone CPS03, 0,5 m

The SilverStone CPS03 is a 0.5 m internal Mini‑SAS cable with an SFF‑8087 36‑pin connector on one end and four SATA 7‑pin connectors plus a sideband (SGPIO) connector on the other. The cable features heavy‑duty connectors, a four‑lane high‑performance design and braided sleeving for durable, shielded data transmission suitable for servers, workstations and professional storage systems.

Advantages

Thick, shielded construction and industrial‑grade materials reduce interference and improve signal integrity. Heavy‑duty connectors and robust weave sleeving provide reliable mechanical connections and long service life. The four‑lane design delivers high throughput for multi‑drive configurations, while the integrated sideband (SGPIO) support enables activity and status signalling in compatible enclosures.

Suitable for

• Connecting multiple SATA drives to a single SFF‑8087 port
• Server and workstation internal storage setups
• RAID arrays and professional multi‑drive storage systems
• Enclosures requiring SGPIO sideband signalling

Key specifications

• Cable length: 0.5 m
• Connector 1: SFF‑8087 36‑pin
• Connector 2: SATA 7‑pin ×4 (target devices) plus sideband (SGPIO) connector
• Design: 4‑lane high‑performance
• Colour: Black

How to use

Connect the SFF‑8087 36‑pin end to the host controller or backplane SFF‑8087 port and plug the four SATA 7‑pin connectors into the target drives. Ensure connectors are fully seated and oriented correctly before powering the system. If your enclosure supports SGPIO, connect the sideband plug to enable activity and status LEDs. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and interference with fans or hot components.

Recommendations

Use the cable in internal PC, workstation or server environments only. Avoid excessive bending and tensile stress; maintain gentle curves and secure the cable with ties if needed. Verify compatibility of host controllers and backplanes with SFF‑8087 and SGPIO signals before installation.
