InLine optički duplex kabel ST/ST 50/125µm OM4 5m

The InLine Fiber Optical Duplex Cable ST/ST 50/125µm OM4 5m is a duplex multimode fiber patch cable designed for high-speed data transmission in networking environments. It features ST connectors on both ends and a 50/125 µm OM4 core, providing increased bandwidth and supporting longer transmission distances compared with lower-grade multimode fibers. The 5 m length makes it suitable for connections within racks, between nearby switches or equipment, and in data center patching.

Advantages

The OM4 multimode fiber core (50/125 µm) delivers improved modal bandwidth for applications requiring higher data rates. ST/ST duplex connectors facilitate reliable full-duplex links and easy connection to equipment with ST ports. The cable’s construction is optimized for patching and short rack-to-rack links, offering consistent signal quality and low insertion loss when used in compatible multimode setups.

Suitable for

• Short-range multimode connections in data centers
• Rack-to-rack and switch-to-switch patching
• High-bandwidth LAN and SAN links
• Fiber optic test and measurement setups

Key specifications

How to use

Align the ST connectors with the equipment ST ports and insert until the connector latches. Use one fiber for each direction to maintain full-duplex communication. Avoid bending the fiber beyond its minimum bend radius and secure the cable to prevent tension or stress on the connectors. For optimal performance, ensure connectors and ports are clean before mating.

Recommendations

Use this OM4 ST/ST duplex cable for short to medium multimode links within racks or between adjacent network devices. Inspect and clean optical endfaces periodically and store the cable coiled without tight loops to preserve performance.
