InLine optički duplex kabel SC/SC 50/125µm OM3 5m

The InLine Fiber Optical Duplex Cable SC/SC 50/125µm OM3 5m is a duplex multimode fiber patch cable designed for reliable high-speed data links. With a 50 µm core and OM3 multimode specification, this 5-meter cable supports full duplex communication using SC connectors on both ends. It is intended for use in structured cabling, data center interconnects and enterprise networks where low loss and stable signal transmission are required.

Advantages

This fiber cable offers OM3 multimode performance that supports high data rates with reduced modal dispersion. The SC/SC connectors provide stable push-pull coupling and easy installation in standard fiber panels and transceivers. The 50/125 µm core/cladding geometry ensures compatibility with common multimode equipment, while the 5 m length balances reach and manageability for patching between racks and equipment.

Suitable for

• Data center patching and server-to-switch connections
• Enterprise LAN backbone and horizontal cabling
• High-speed multimode links up to 10 Gbps within campus or building networks
• Fiber optic patch panels and inter-rack connections

Key specifications

• Fiber type: Multimode OM3
• Core/cladding diameter: 50/125 µm
• Connector type: SC female to SC female (duplex)
• Length: 5 m
• Bandwidth: supports 10 Gbps up to specified distances for OM3
• Application: Full duplex data transmission

How to use

Install the cable by inserting each SC connector into the corresponding SC adapter or transceiver port until it clicks into place. Ensure connectors and ports are clean before connection to minimize signal loss. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and excessive tension, keeping bend radius within manufacturer recommendations. For disconnection, depress the SC connector latch and withdraw straight out to avoid damaging the ferrule or adapter.

Recommendations

Use this OM3 duplex cable for short- to medium-range multimode connections in controlled environments such as data centers and communication rooms. Maintain connector cleanliness using appropriate cleaning tools and store unused cables coiled without tight loops. Verify link performance after installation with suitable fiber test equipment when deploying at 10 Gbps or higher.
