Gedore 2797186 imbus ključ

The Gedore 2797186 hex key is a compact, durable hand tool designed for use in confined spaces and for applications requiring accessible, low-profile torque. Made of Gedore vanadium steel (59CrV4) and zinc-plated, this hex key features double ball ends and a short angled side to improve reach and allow work around protrusions while maintaining a strong grip and reliable performance.

Advantages

The double ball ends permit angled entry into fasteners, increasing accessibility where standard hex keys cannot reach; the short angled side provides a low profile for working near surfaces. The design reduces finger injury risk on flat work surfaces and enables faster progress due to the ability to go around obstructions. Construction from Gedore vanadium steel (59CrV4) with zinc plating ensures durability and corrosion resistance.

How to use

Select the correct hex key size for the fastener and insert the ball end at the required angle if direct access is obstructed. Apply steady torque while keeping the short angled side aligned close to the work surface for low-profile operation. Use the long arm for greater leverage when needed, and the short arm for confined spaces. Inspect the tool before use and avoid excessive force that could damage fasteners or the key.

Recommendations

For best results, keep the hex key clean and lightly lubricated to prevent corrosion; store it in a dry toolbox. Use the ball ends for quick alignment and the straight end for full torque engagement when possible.
