Filtarska membrana Rittal 3322.705

The Rittal 3322.705 filter membrane is made of a chopped-fibre mat with a progressive structure designed for efficient air filtration in electrical and electronic enclosures. It provides reliable filtering of virtually all types of dust from a particle size of 10 µm, maintains optimal airflow, and resists temperatures up to 100°C. The material meets the self-extinguishing category F1 according to DIN 53 438 and presents an open structure on the dust-laden air side and a closed structure on the clean-air side.

Advantages

The progressive chopped-fibre structure ensures high dust retention starting at 10 µm while preserving airflow through the membrane. Temperature resistance up to 100°C and classification F1 to DIN 53 438 provide increased safety in enclosure applications. The asymmetric design—open on the dust side and closed on the clean-air side—improves particulate capture and simplifies maintenance. The membrane is durable and compatible with typical enclosure filter frames.

How to use

Install the Rittal 3322.705 filter membrane in the enclosure filter frame with the open-structured side facing the dust-laden airflow and the closed side facing the clean interior. Ensure the membrane is seated evenly and that any seals or mounting clips are correctly engaged to avoid bypass. Replace the membrane according to your maintenance schedule or when a noticeable pressure drop or contamination is observed.

Recommendations

For reliable performance, inspect the membrane regularly and replace it if heavily soiled or damaged. Use the membrane in appropriate frame sizes and protect it from mechanical damage during installation. Avoid exposing the membrane to temperatures above 100°C or to chemical agents not specified by the enclosure manufacturer.
