Epson zupčanik 16

Inside your Epson inkjet printer, the paper feed and carriage drive rely on a small but critical component: the spur gear. The Epson Spur Gear 16 is an original replacement part engineered to keep your printer running smoothly. With 16 teeth, a 0.5M module, and a 20° pressure angle, this gear meshes precisely with adjacent gears in the drive train. Its 9mm outer diameter, 2.5mm bore, and 3mm face width ensure a drop-in fit for compatible Epson L-series, XP-series, and WF-series printers. Made from white POM plastic, it offers low friction, high wear resistance, and quiet operation. The press-fit mounting makes installation straightforward for technicians and advanced DIYers. Whether you're repairing a worn gear or performing preventive maintenance, this spur gear restores reliable paper handling and print quality.

Why choose it

This is a genuine Epson part, guaranteeing exact dimensional and material specifications. POM plastic provides excellent dimensional stability, low moisture absorption, and high fatigue strength, ensuring long service life. The precise tooth geometry reduces backlash and noise, maintaining accurate paper advancement and print alignment. Replacing a worn gear with this original component avoids the risk of incompatibility or premature failure associated with generic alternatives.

Ideal use cases

• Repairing paper feed jams caused by a stripped or worn spur gear
• Restoring carriage drive functionality in Epson inkjet printers
• Preventive maintenance for high-volume printing environments
• Refurbishing used or refurbished Epson printers

Good to know

Installation requires disassembling the printer to access the gear train. Ensure the printer is unplugged and consult the service manual for your specific model. The press-fit design means the gear is secured by friction; if the old gear is damaged, remove any debris from the shaft before installing the new one. This gear is not compatible with all Epson models—verify the part number against your printer's service documentation.
